Archetypal Collage Workshop: Constellating the Great Mother Archetype.

The Archetypal Collage Workshop is a unique connective event that provides a space for participants to delve deep into the creation of personal Archetypal collage that represents universal symbols, personal and impersonal expressions of the Great Mother archetype.

Through Guided Imagery and the use of mixed media, we will explore some of your journey with the Great Mother archetype that you may not be aware of yet. Together, we will explore the richness of archetypal imagery, to constellate the Great Mother Archetype into your consciousness.

Even though my personal mother was an inconsistent presence in my life, I did have interim parental figures throughout my childhood and adolescence that assumed the mother and father roles for me. It seems that I was always looking for another recipient to land my projection of the MaterPater upon.

After over 12 years of personal therapy, consistent inner work, as well as personal and formal education, I have come upon the territory of the Great Mother archetype within myself and out there in the external world. That psychoemotional bridge has become a lifeline that has nurtured me, reparented me in the most wondrous ways possible. I still have many ways to explore the ways, places, experiences through which the Great Mother archetype will show up for me as She has since the beginning of my orphanhood. That intra-relationship with the Mater is something I can never, ever lose. That I am convinced of.

That supportive psychic, imaginal, emotional bed of the Great Mother is a resource I wish to share with you; first through this archetypal collage workshop. Perhaps, your instincts, your inner child will guide you to draw an imagery, an emotion, a form through which the Mater will constellate through you that day.
